The abundant, mineral-rich waters of Jacumba Hot Springs flow directly from the earth into our pools, completely free of chemical treatments. It contains a unique, 100% natural mineral profile that has been known for its healing and regenerative qualities for centuries.

While the alchemy of the Jacumba mineral spring water cannot be measured, the chemistry of our water has been thoroughly evaluated and registered by the Balneology Association of North America as therapeutic due to its unique qualities.

Our healing water is Alkaline (10+ pH) and high in many minerals, yet is very soft to the skin. Our pools are designed with bench seating all around to allow guests to comfortably absorb the unique therapeutic qualities.

In summer, the outdoor pools are incredibly refreshing as the mineral spring water is cooled slightly to 90-99 degrees depending on the pool. In the winter, the water is heated to 96-102 degrees.

SODIUM Relaxes stiff muscles and joints, relieving symptoms of rheumatological disorders and psoriasis. Increases buoyancy, potentially relieving arthritic and muscular pain.
MANGANESE Improves bone density, and aids in the body’s wound healing functionality. Helps with enzyme and antioxidant production, improving immune function. Lowers inflammation, assists brain function, and helps regulate blood sugar (especially for insulin production).
LITHIUM Promotes brain health through neurogenesis (formation of new brain cells), mental stimulation (calming), and the prevention of neurodegenerative disease such as dementia.
CHLORIDE Helps the body maintain electrolyte and pH balance. Responsible for the production of hydrochloric acid in the stomach (protein digestive). Aids in detoxification and in the electrical signaling of muscles and nerves.
SILICA Increases bone density and strength, and aids in collagen production for healthy skin, hair and nails. Strengthens heart and immune system function by lowering cholesterol and inflammation. Softens and relieves dry irritated skin. Used in the treatment of acne.
HYDROGEN SULFIDE Antifungal, antibacterial, analgesic and anti-inflammatory. The sulfur smell comes from the gas in the waters and is one of the most beneficial qualities of our springs. Reduces pain, inflammation and stress levels. Also known to be therapeutic to the skin.

Our hotel guest rooms and hotel mineral hot spring pools offer respite and recharge for humans age 21+.

The mineral content of the waters here tends to tarnish silver jewelry. Not to worry – it can be easily polished back to its original luster or be left to do so on its own. If you want to be extra careful, we recommend leaving your jewels in your in-room safe before you soak.

Our hotel restaurant, bar patio, and all our offsite guest houses - the Casitas, La Ranchita, the Lodge and the Village House - are child and dog friendly. Dogs are not allowed inside the hotel rooms and pool areas. Our Casita guest houses have private mineral spring soaking tubs, and our mineral spring lake is available for all to enjoy.
